Erland,
Recently, there appeared on U Tube, and many other places, a clip made in the office of our local New York City Councilman, James Oddo. It seems that a Norwegian comedian, Pia Haraldsen, posing as a journalist, set Mr. Oddo up for an interview, in which she asked a bunch of dopey, and irrelevant questions about U. S. national politics. At first, Oddo answered seriously, but when he realized he was being conned, he launched into an expletive laden tirade, and had the crew thrown out of his office.

Personally, I thought the whole thing was pretty funny. Apparently, the incident took place in late August, but it wasn't shown in Norway until October 4, and now it's everywhere. My question is how did it play out in Norway? What was the reaction?

You can see clips of the incident, and replies from him and her by googling James Oddo, and Pia Haraldsen.

Well, actually Pia haraldsen is not a comedian. She is well known in Norway because she is indirectly related to the norwegian Queen, Queen Sonja. She's not even a blood relative, but still that's why she is well known. Before she started television, she has been in many gossip magazines etc. and has kind of been a victim of media harrassment.

She recently started worrking in television, and is on a humour-show called "Rikets Rost" (Voice of the kingdom). They do all kinds of crazy media stunts, and make fun of many pathetic people etc. etc.

I think alot of people here thought it was funny, myself included.
