Hi paul, welcome aboard, great yard shots. What palms do you grow?
Trachy, sabal and butia? And do you leave them unprotected in the winter?

Thanks Ron, we have Trachy's, and needles in the ground, they are all on the southern face of the house and we really don't do anything to protect them. We had a low of 7 degrees F last winter and had a little burn issue but not to bad. We have more needles in pots along with 3 Sabal palmetto's, a couple of Phoenix Roebelenii's, a few large cycas Revoluta along with a few smaller ones,a Bismarkia about 7 gal. size, Wodyetia Bifurcata, a couple of Beaucarnea Recurvata's around 3 ft. and about a dozen small ones.

Don't really know a whole lot about them, noticed for the first time this summer, since I got my first nanner plant, that on my way home EVERY SINGLE DAY for the last Ten Years that there are three places growing these, and they are beautiful, looking into for next spring though as my little Dwarf Cav. has got me hooked on Tropicals. Who woulda thought:ropingnaner: yeah they got me roped in and on Da hook :)
