After seeing the thread on Ensete perrieri, I remembered seeing another uncommon Ensete at Fairchild Gardens a couple of years ago. It was labeled E. gilletii but according to the Kew Monocot Checklist it is now known as E. livingstonianum. Anyone familiar with this one or grown it?

I don't know why they took priority of E. livingstonianum over E. gilletii, I always knew it as just E. gilletii. In any case, its another species, African, kinda big, green plant. Still virtually unknown in the trade, but has been documented for a long time. This and Ensete homblei are the only known Ensete left to not really be available like the others.
