I live in Central Florida, zone 9b. Currently, I have:

Praying Hands
Manzano
Dwarf Namwa
Tall Namwa (thought it was Ice Cream)
Raja Puri
Mysore
Goldfinger (might not be the real thing)

I've tasted all of the above except Goldfinger. Best tasting is hard to say. I think Manzano, Namwa, and Mysore are all awesome.

Manzano is super vigorous for me and has grown the fastest with the biggest p-stem. Namwa is nice and sturdy and always productive. Raja Puri seems very easy to grow and possibly the most drought resistant. Mysore probably has the most complex taste and I like the coloring of the p-stem and leaves, but it tends to be a thinner p-stem that will topple because it gets so tall before flowering.
What is your favorite banana to grow in this area or in similar zone elsewhere?:waving:

I just bought my bananas so at this point I am speculating the Veinte Cohol will be my favorite if my idea of propagation and production works. I am up to 11 kinds now.
