Finally got 1 out of 50 to germinate after trying a couple of years with different batches from different places. I am thinking they must have all come from the same original source and been old.

If you can please post photos as it grows, that would be much appreciated. I'm curious if the seeds available are the real species as very little is known about it.

It died unfortunately. Popped the plug and then turned brown. I have 49 more so hopefully I will get another. I have had a heck of a time getting this banana. I have never lost a seedling until this one, but will be sure to post pics if I get another.

This is not my germination year either. I have 2 pineapple seedlings which, though they don't seem to be growing, are green and healthy but I'm having issues getting no brainer seeds like tomatoes and peppers to sprout. Nutso.

Fingers crossed you get another going!

I am thinking the seeds are all very old and the poor little guy just couldnt make it. I got 10 Thai black seeds as a bonus, and this says to me they probably expected low germination of the Griersonnii lol. I did get 4 out of the 10 Thai Black to germinate in 2 weeks.

1 out of the 3 that germinated so far, the first one died before it got out of the seed. I think this one is going to make it.

I have a bigger one that I grew from seed a few years ago. It's asleep at the moment, but I'll post pictures when it starts growing again.
