When I ask folks what color ratio they want, the response is always "send what you think is best". And I've grown enough pups to know more green is better, especially if it's your first one. You're going to get plenty of variegated pups with different ratios and some will be all white or all green. Starting with a plant that has more vigor is always best.
I recently had a field planted pup that was more white than green and was growing beautifully for many months, absolutely no problems until it started pushing consecutive all white leaves. The softball sized corm shut down the growing point after the 7th white leaf, but the great thing about this slow death was that the corm had plenty of time to prepare for the future. I've never seen so many growing points on a Manini before, it was amazing. So after digging up the corm and potting all of the growing the points a few minutes ago, now it's just a matter of waiting to see what these future pups will look like.
