Welcome to the org. Could you tell us which variety of banana you are growing, and where you are growing them. Then possibly update your profile and add your location and grow zone. Please.

Zone 6b. Wow! I think about the challenges that I have in my zone 8. I think about how when I mention to someone that I grow banana plants in the back yard, they look at me like I am crazy.
Todd, there many members here that share your grow zone and challenges that you face. I hope you share your experiences good or bad. Your successes and failures are helpful to the next new member in which plants they grow and how they grow them.
This truly is a great group of people from all walks of life that share a common passion for growing bananas. Thank you for being a part of it!

So glad you updated your profile; it's proof to me that you're a serious musaphile or wannabee like me. :ha: Welcome again!
