So we had some recent windy weather, and one of my nanners was already kinda tilty. Braced her weeks ago, and was doing good. Came home a few days ago and I guess the winds this time shifted directions and knocked her completely over to the other side. SOoooo i had to harvest earlier than I wanted. I have the nanners hanging in the garage, too hot? Do they need sunlight to ripen? I know some are too small, but about 70% are mature in size. What is best way to get them to ripen.

Cut of a hand and put it in a grocery paper bag with an apple.

Even if they topple I leave mine on as long as possible as they can still fill in some.

I agree with Rob - had good luck the last windstorm by propping up a few falldown bunches about halfway, like 45 degrees or less. They still had a few roots connected, corm was still pumping things up as best it could, etc. The fall downs happened 12-23-14 and the last one to ripen was almost 6 months later, 6-13-15. They just got a little bamboo X-bracing to hold them off the ground, and a little extra dirt and watering. No wilting or major leaf loss.

Yours sound like they were almost ripe anyway.
