Hi Keith

Do you use imidachloprid or any anti fungal solution on you corms, after separating with the mother plant.

As always, your Manini photos are eye candy. But also great to see your close-ups on your planting medium, the coarse sand. Your previous comments in other threads about that has helped me save my Gran Nain x Sumatrana. Thanks again.

I'm amazed at how variable the variegation is on these TC manini. That last one hardly has any chlorophyll!

Great pict. Wow! Look at all the pups trying to grow from that small section of corm. Is it normal for the Manini to be pup crazy? Thanks for sharing.

Nah b, it can be done by anyone anywhere. It's gotta be one of the simplest ways to turn one banana into thousands of plantlets. If you recall this is the ARH I sent you that was done this way so that you could examine and copy the technique, you're probably very proficient by now. The main difference I've notice is that the ARH produces about 10 plantlets per 'growing point' while the ae usually produces in the 25 to 75 plantlet range.

By the looks of Keith Manini Photos , You can pretty much throw out the window everything you ever heard about Growing Manini!.. All reports read that they are problematic & weak , I am seen the complete opposite with my Manini & Keith's Manini !..

The bottom of this pup was cut off slightly above ground level, meaning everything in the photos was above ground level.

While cleaning a few Manini corms today I found this future peeper under four sheaths, hopefully she'll be a beauty.

Could you explain your propagation technique? And what is ARH?
