New the site but are you also new to bananas? They're pretty nice here to novices or were to me.

I'm in central but there are a bunch of members who live in your area on both coasts and in the middle. I haven't collected any fruits from my plants yet; have you? Be aware that we love pictures here.

Hi :-)
I'm new to the site, and half way new to Bananas. Yrs ago I was introduced to Dwarf cavendish. I thought it was the most handsome and incredible thing in the garden, but now I know so much more. I've recently relit the passion and persued a collection. I've had the dwarf red bloom and bear for me, the D Cavendish too, of course. D'lish. Currently I have Dwarf Namwah, Goldfinger, Mona Lisa, and Saba, yet all babies, no fruit Harvested from them...yet. :-)
I wanna try other cultivars. What do you grow?

I have a DC because I believe everyone should. :ha: Actually I bought 1 for my mother's day gift in 2013 when I lived in Jacksonville but had to leave it behind so I purchased another this summer since I needed to spend more to get a $5 discount at Lowes. What am I growing? How would I know? I may have a Dwarf Namwah, a Raja Puri and something Red but, having raised figs before, I know you need to see the fruit to be sure and it's going to be a while before that happens. I believe I have 9 different varieties including 1 Plantain and am pretty sure one of those is a DC.
