How many mats..........ONE MAN can work with..........???
And taking about Economics....................how much money ONE MAN can make with Bananas alone............???
This is just CURIOSITY...................but I would like to know what about ONE MAN alone can do..............in terms of crop size and money making............
???

I cannot answer all your questions, maybe none.
But, I have seen a guy's place that is on 3 acres. He has trucked in many, many loads of green waste [mulch] making piles about 20' in dia, about 3' to 4' deep with bananas planted in them. These mulch piles are spaced maybe 40' to 50' between them, more than enough room to drive a truck around between the growing mounds. He is tending many hundreds of banana plants of several different types. I assume he is using organic methods. I have no idea as to the economics of growing. But, I'm convinced that 1 man can tend a lot of bananas.
I don't know how this method will work through several years of weed growth. But right now, his setup looks pretty good.

Thank You.........
Its all about one man can do.............and what one man cannot do...........
Where the need of helpers start.........???
Whare is the limit........???
I just start to study Bananas economically............and I think to start studing about what a single person can do...........
Then I would ike to study progressivelly............a kind of small familiar crop................and then large comercial crops.............
The idea of manage a crop alone is intresting to me.........

I had 5 acres with 2000 mats and it was just me. It was part-time as well. I think it would be reasonable for one man to farm 10 acres on his own, full time.
So in this hypothetical situation I will assume the economics of Nam Wah in Florida
4000 mats on 10 acres produces 8000 bunches annually at most.
Which means you have 154 bunches per week
Monday= desuckering and pruning an acre
Tuesday= Pruning and bagging new bunches (154 each week)
Wednesday= Pest Control, Harvest and Box (I can do six bunches per hour)
Thursday= Harvest and Box
Friday=Harvest, Box, Deliver
Saturday=Accounting
On a well managed farm 154 bunches will yield 154 boxes. 154 x $27 = $4158.00
Now you could reasonably sell whole bunches for between $5 and $10 and possibly farm more acres. Even $770-$1540 per week isn't half bad.
