It's pushed 3 leaves since being potted, certainly nothing special.

Very ugly lateral rhizome, just as skinny as the pseudostem and almost as long which is why the plant isn't centered.

Water suckers are a product of improper nutrition. I've never had one since I started regular fertilization.

I walked up to the northern Manini grove this morning and took some pics of the 'Dang Water Sucker', it's growing great, has two pups and looks to be the best so far. :woohoonaner:

Well unfortunately my plant is only 2.5-3 feet tall (whatever it is, suppose to be ice cream from Wellsprings but it's got red on the psuedostem) so I certainly don't have to worry about getting any water suckers any time soon. It's in a 10 gallon pot ATM just because I need to know what it is before deciding if it should be planted out or not. Need to post a thread and get some help. Anyway, beautiful pics PR-Giants, I love the variegated leaves on that.
