Hello Gang;

A Few month ago i removed all my Orionoco from my garden, I forgot to discard this corm, Been laying there for a few month & pups are still growing from it, They look nice and healthy.. These bananas are very vigorous..

Just wondering...
Is it safe to plant naner trees that close to the
fence bordering your neighbors yard?
When I picked up pups from momoese,
he told me that he had to occasionally go over
to his neighbors yard to dig pups or if not,
the corm will/have uprooted the fence.

I know some varieties pup profusely.
Any insights on the matter?
Thanx!

No im not growing that corm there, I haven't find any one to give them away to , I don;t want to throw them away in the trash, So they will remain there temporarily.

There is nothing strange or impressive about that. The same thing will happen, if you
drop a potato or any other bulb or rhizome there.

With a banana i would be concerned, that it might not be well enough rooted to withstand
a hefty breeze, when it grows up :)

Had this happen with a Musa Zebrina corm that I thought had died, sat in my greenhouse in 120 degree temps totally dry for about 5 months, then I noticed it had live sprouts, pretty amazing they are so tough, but cold is a different story lol
