I believe so but mine is not big enough yet to have red underside. It has the same blotches like a Cavendish though.

as TC from Going Bananas/AgriStarts,

Did AgriStarts ever t/c the SH-3640?

as a corm from Going Bananas,

This was also a 'SH-3640' corm that came from Going Bananas.

as the much more mature corm that I dug two weeks ago at bananimal's.

If you dug it up from a SH-3640 mother plant then it should be a SH-3640.

Hello Ed!
Is that the same 3640 you posted 2 years ago
pictured here...http://www.bananas.org/f2/fhia-3640-banana-plant-18730.html

Take a full frontal pic & let us see an update.

Cheers:bananas_b

Im running out of ground planting room in my yard but if I were to get 1 more...this would probably be it.
I have its half siblings already:
the FHIA 18 and the Brazilian(thanks to momoese) and the Mona Lisa.

I dont recall seeing red blotches
or red undersides
on the mother or the pup
I recently acquired.
But again it has brazilian traits.

I have a 3640 I bought from Going Bananas and it has some red blots. No red under yet but it is pretty small yet...
