I should have! Lol! I went way over budget but no regrets! I've got 2 amberellas now. They seem to be pretty tough. The fruit is good too. I ate them while living in Mauritius. Like a very firm acidic mango. Makes a good salad when underipe. I'll go take pictures now...

Are you growing those up in Quebec? What are your plans for keeping the mallika protected? I just put a mallika in the ground this morning.

It's coming inside for the cold season... I've got 8x4 feet long t8's waiting for my plants. If it's not enough, I'll get more!!!

Have you ever tasted Mallika? It looks good and sweet, hope it is...

Yes, it's an excellent mango with very low fiber. It has a somewhat coconut flavor to it to me.

It is a compact tree so you should be able to keep it short enough to bring inside. You are supposed to pick the fruit green and let it ripen off the tree, so I have it planted in my front yard. I figure I won't have to worry about neighbors wandering into my yard to pick unripe fruit

I keep my vanilla orchid in the basement, no artificial light and far from the window and neglect it. It seems the plant likes this...

Perry ( I'm guessing you bought them from floraexotica...) has only 2-3 curry leaf plants left... You should hurry. I've lost 2 of them during winter because of mealybugs...

Nice to know. Thanks. Usually, mangoes get eaten before ripening... Green mango salad is so good! Or pickled in mustard with garlic and chillies! Sooo good!
