I have a slight dilemma. I put my potted dragons outside so that they can enjoy the sun. They are growing fabulously. It has been super hot here in NC--100F. Fortunately, we are getting lots of pop-up showers that help cool things down a bit.

I have noticed that the flower pots are staying extremely moist due to the rain. I have a moisture meter, and the moisture levels have stayed at the maximum level for about a month now. I am afraid that my dragons will start getting root rot or some fungus if I don't do something. If I bring them indoors, they won't get sun. If I leave them outside, they will be soaked with rain. Help! What should I do?

they can handle rain pretty well as long as it drains well, does not stand. Guess if you feel they are getting too much rain cover them up to the stem with plastic bag when it rains then uncover them. They love to be treated like a tropical plant, not a cactus.

Thanks, Kubali! I will leave them as is.
