Generally, a plant will fold its leaves and seem to wilt during the heat of the day only to perk up as the sun goes down and it usually looks much better in the morning.

In a container and on a hot deck or patio this seems to happen very fast.

For me, if air temp is in the 80s with part sun the container temp will be in the 110s on the deck; this will be even slightly higher in direct sun.

When a plant does this it reduces its exposure to the sun along with some other factors.

. Post a photo if you can for us to see what it is?

Note the folded leaves and the droop in the petioles.
this 'look' is normal.
If your plant looks like this your good.
