This is the incredible morphing banana, it was supposed to be Rajapuri, and last year it got about 3 feet tall from TC, and was variegated with half white, and half green leaves, like a yin yang symbol. I had it in my unheated greenhouse under frost cloth in winter, and the Pstem died, leaving me with several pups. All the new pups have lost the white variegation, but had a few but no significant wine marks. Then when it got close to 100 degrees this last 2 weeks, they started having very vivid wine marks that cover a lot of the leaves, and have an almost iridescent sheen to them. There is no color on the Pstem like SDC except for a little pink on the petiole canals, and whatever it is, it loves heat and doesn't fold in sun and high temps like my other bananas. This plant I separated in the photo has 2 new pups of its own already. I like it, its very ornamental, but not a Rajapuri I am pretty sure, I am thinking high color mini, can anyone confirm? I will keep it anyway because I like the way it looks.

I would guess SDC too... or maybe Truly tiny... but more SDC. I could be wrong.

Beats me... but it looks absolutely nothing like my Raja Puri. Beautiful little plant, though.

Just plain green, no red or pinkish coloration. I do like how it takes full sun well, all my other stuff is folding in the heat right now. Because of the strange white variegation, no variegation, brownish purple color changes, I dunno what it is. It did not have color like this last year in full sun. I am guessing Hi color mini, but will have to see how tall it gets, last year it was TC so I didnt really expect it to get too tall, have to see this year.
