Looks you might have had some hail too.

Well, this one took out about half of what was growing. I am slowly losing my Hua Moas to windstorms as they are uprooted. Been a rough summer so far.

We got some wind here, too, Nick, but nothing like what it looks as though you had. Between the drought and spontaneous weather like this, it has been an interesting year for growing MANY things here east of the Lake.

I'm so sorry for your losses; my family has farmed for a couple of centuries so I truly understand your pain and frustration. I wish you could "blow" those storms to me; I'll deal with the wind damage. It's so hot and dry here. I've become a weather watching freak hoping for relief that's hasn't arrived. Rainy season? Haha!

Well If I was going to take a hit, the middle of Summer is the time for it. I don't sell much from June to September.

Hell, it only rained 1/4 inch. We are about 8 inches in the hole for the rainy season.
