I got a new Bordelon today from Santa Rosa Gardens on sale for 5.99, compared in the pic below on the right, with one of my zebrina pups on the left (wanted to make sure it was not a zebrina), has anyone grown these, what is your experience with them pupping, growth rate, cold hardiness, etc.? Seems to be hard to find, and with little info, makes me wonder why, like maybe they are not that great lol Supposed to be hardy to zone 8, some sites saying 7b, I am assuming the 8 is without mulch. I am going to leave this one out in winter with a ton of mulch, and keep pup backups just in case it does not make it.

You should have good success with your plants.

Thats awesome looking!

Thanks, Siege

I really like these precocious/petite colorful plants.
Six or seven plants to a 14 gal container makes an awesome compact presentation.
These plants ship well as corms also.

Here are two containers that have been in the "dark" for six months.
The stems of these plants seem to dessicate more than my other plants.
Once the air/soil temp rises to the 80's these plants rise and shine.
Loves 16-16-16 granular or Miracle Grow and a loose soilless mix as shown in a few other of my posts.
