A friend of my mother brought this one from Thailand in the '80s. This is the first time it has fruited for me. Pseudostem is about 7' tall. Any thoughts?

It looks very similar to my ebay "ice cream" which is probably Namwah.

I am not an expert, but it does not look like any of my Namwah at all.
It is my understanding and observation here in my yard that all Namwah have a purple colored band on each neck of the banana finger (where they are attached to the hand), which is less significant or gone at harvest time. I cannot see any coloration in your photos.
Second, Namwah do not retain any bracts but your plant does. Brazilian and Raja Puri do, but I am still not certain that this is what you have there.
