Hello everyone. I recently purchased a musa margarita with several babies. I have repotted as well as seperated the babies in order to give the bigger plant more room to grow in her new pot. However I noticed that Momma plant is now very droopy. The new pot has drainage holes and I mixed MG with little compost and perilite. I watered well and soil is still moist from that watering which was 3 days ago. Is this normal or did I do something wrong. My dh really wanted this plant and they are hard to come by here so I am hoping that this is just normal...any suggestions?

Well, they're certainly not trolling, Cincinnanna!

Welcome to the forums, I guess, jus4play. I'm not familiar with your type either, but if there were a lot of pups on the plant, it could be a big shock to the mama to lose that many at once; particularly if you took too much corm.

To lessen the shock, try moving it to an area with a little less sun for a few days and see if it starts to perk up a bit. If that helps, gradually give it more and more sun until it's ready to be back out in full sun again.
