Has anyone bought a Gros Michel from Florida Hill?
I'm wondering if it's legit or just another clavendish with a screwed up label on it

I've got a couple. Before I heard all the reviews about them. I'm like you waiting to see what happens . I can say so far mine aren't dwarf cavendish that's for sure .

You never know until you grow it out with tissue culture. I grow Gros Michel. Its a good banana but its more demanding than other varieties that will grow in your zone. My mat is finally established and I will hang on it it. However if I was laying out a new garden, I'm not so sure I would include it if limited on space.

I really hope it fruits! I have a very tall plant building that I keep heated in the winter. I'm not sure about these GMs though. Some of the leave have developed the red splotches you find on cavandish bananas so now I'm in doubt. I just now discovered this on a recently opened new leaf.
