hi i have this dwarf cavendish and it is my first year with banana plants. and my dwarf cavendish has made baby's, and don't know if it is normal the plant is only 15 cm high and has already made a baby. 1 there have broken the surface and another there is about to break the surface,
when can i seperate them so the pups will survive

Residual hormones from the tissue culture process can cause early suckering

how many will it could produce becourse of the hormones if you could guess

There is no real science to how many suckers a plant will produce... If there is, it hasn't been explained to me... I have a DC with three suckers currently growing...
Personally, I would wait until it is at least 10 inches before separation...

If you want more pups to separate in the future, leave them until there are at least three functional leaves and the pup has at least knee height.
It needs to have its own roots to survive.

if i let it grow to knee height it wil be bigger than the mother plant it seems to be growing a little faster than the mother plant that is only half a foot high
