Been lurking for a bit as really have limited knowledge, but threads have been helpful and have not had much issues yet. With the recent heat and little rain, not sure if I am watering too much, too little or if something else is going. Less than a month ago these leaves were lush and green. Does not seem to be affecting new leaves. I fert monthly with about a cup of 10-10-12 or 10-10-10 fert from Going Bannanas in Homestead Florida. These 2 are unknown variety pups that I got from a friends matts a year ago. My Raja Puri, Mysore and goldfinger seem to be doing better, and definitely none of the ugly brown burn like spots.

You don't mention your location.

The plants have definitely has some heat stress combined with insufficient water.

Part of the issue is that the plant is still short and close to the ground, and thus getting a lot of reflected heat, as well as from above. Damper soil will help with that as well.

Sorry I am in South Florida. And yes been VERY hot. Will up the watering a bit. I had been holding back because we keep getting rain clouds and rain in forecast but NO RAIN!! So had fear of overwatering. Gonna go back to m-w-f watering and if it rains it rains. And interesting about the ground heat and shorties, as my taller Raja puri and Mysore do not have this problem. But neither does my even shorter goldfinger which is interesting. But the ground it is in seems to be less draining. Thank you for your help.

During the hot months I water every day. Twice a day when we have a heat wave
I recently added a misting system on a timer. 30 min every 2 hours during the hot part of the day, manners love it

You can water a lot when it's this hot. It also could use a bit of temporary shade for it.
