Default Dwarf Brazillian

Looking for a dwarf brazillian pup. Willing to pay shipping on it or trade for one of the grand nain pups on the mat I'm going to rip out.

Hi - my DBs took a beating last winter and are just coming back - pups kind've small - I'm curious - why are you removing your grand nains?
I am interested in that variety - do they produce in the Foley area? Biloxi is abut the same climate...

I've managed to get one bunch off them in five years. Despite wrapping them in frost cloths and Christmas lights, the pseudostems froze to the ground for the past three winters. Both the Raja Pura and the seed-grown musa bauensis I have received the same winterizing treatment and their pseudostems survived. The Grand Nain just isn't worth the space for a variety I can buy in the grocery store for 30 cents a pound.

Thanks - That news is disappointing - I thought you were getting fruit with your GN. - my D Braz mat isn't very cold hardy (freezes earlier than namwahs) and the pstems are way taller than Raja.
I'm giving up winterizing also - too much trouble for the limited results. From now on I plan to dig pups and overwinter them in a warm spot.
If you want a D Braz - I should have pups this season..
