So now that they are in the ground with some Basjoo's that were wintered indoors and some new ones time will tell how they will do this year.

I spent a couple of months living in Burnaby about 9 years ago. Though I do remember seeing a few palm trees back then, I couldn't imagine growing bananas there.

Of course, 9 years later, I know better, but I never get tired of seeing the versatility of these plants.

I will plant the windmills as soon as we agree on where they will go so for now they are still in containers.

Nate you have made a lot of good changes in your to your yard. I know how much work that is. I have been working hard on mine for the last couple months. Your bananas look great! Maurelii's are really nice. I have two, one I bought at about a foot and a half, the other I bought at about three. I am in central Oklahoma where the growing season is not nearly as long as yours but we have plenty of sunshine.
All the best.

The whole setup is beautiful. Those rocks are really big bucks. $100/$200+ each.:ha:

Thankfully the builder put them in before I bought the house. They did quite a bit of rock work throughout the neighborhood.
