Hi, I am a relatively new banana grower and recieved two pups from a fellow forum member last Friday. I amended the soil as best I could and watered well the first few days and firtalized also. How long should I expect the pups to appear to be in shock. They both have cigar leafs that are still growing. Is there anything I could do to help they're adjustment? The leafs are a little more yellow/light green than when I recieved them. I tried to post pics but couldn't from an iPad. Thanks.

2-3 weeks is about normal adjustment time for me in CA.
Don't over water in this phase, filtered sun.

Sounds about right and a good sign that the cigar leaves seem to grow. Do not fertilize until you see significant growth. I personally think that you can never have enough compost and mulch for your banana plants. Careful also with watering. It happens that the older leaves might turn yellow, but right now your plants are adjusting, building a new roots system and most of the energy goes into establishing a good corm. Keep up the good work.
