Harvested 42 days after blooming.

A vigorous and fast growing plant that produces 30 lb bunches.

Excellent flavor and texture with an incredible tropical aroma.

I would recommend the Patupi over the Veinte Cohol, it's a much easier plant to grow.

If anyone is interested in growing these two cultivars side by side, let me know.

I will .....no guarantee for early flower though...
I can do a side by side from May till frost.....for any plant you wish, variegated preferred .
But short cycle is welcome.
And I can photo document the complete process similar to all of my other .posts.:)
Local rare ferns will be considered.

I have a 4 foot tall VC that looks like it has made it through the winter. It survived a major spider mite attack and looks to be regrouping. we have about a 6 month growing season here. I was hoping to get to have a real test of possibilities with it this summer it seems to be close to perfect in size for a great jump start to the growing season.
Plenty of room for a Patupi next to it. it would have all the same sun, waterings, ferts etc.
Would love to put them to the test.
It's a shame the Velutina is only 6" tall But that will be planted there also

Hi, I would be willing to grow them side by side. I am relatively new to growing bananas and would be willing to follow your growing instructions to a t. Also I could pay for the shipping and would send you photos weekly. Thanks, Matt!

I would love to try out a Patupi as well. I am willing to purchase and document the growth. I have grown a pair of vc I potted up in the spring of last year. No flowers yet. I am north Cincinnana and in a similar albeit slightly colder environment. Quick growth and fast bloom times are appreciated here. I overwinter in a grow room in the basement.

Thanks, all the plants went very quickly and there's only 1 pending at the moment. I'll bump the thread when I have more available.
