My pitogo just sent up a flag, but i have no idea what the bloom to harvest time is. Does anyone have any experience with this one?

Did your fruit develop on your Pitogo? How long from flag to fruit? Mine just sent up the flag leaf.

I'd love to know too. I've recently had 3 pretty knowledgable banana people where I live tell me it's their favorite.

mine bloomed sometime in early- to mid-october, but i didn't capture the date so my flag-to-fruit won't be accurate.

i will post a taste report after i give them a shot. i am not sure whether to eat ripe of fry green like a plantain, but i will try both.

Those who said it was their favorite meant eating ripe, uncooked.
