I have grown several varieties of bananas but because of space, warmth and light, many have not make it from the extreme cold we had a year ago (the house just wouldn't stay warm enough) Now I trying Teeny Tiny banana and they have done well in a container for inside and have several pups. I just transplanted it into a much larger container with the pups and wondered if I should leave them to keep growing more pups or if I were to take a couple pups out and leave one, maybe 2, would they still bear fruit and when? The plant is over a year old now.

I guess, more the question is, is if I take the pups out, will I have to wait another year or so for it to fruit? I hear they taste pretty good and am so tired of trying to grow bananas here in Penna. From what it seems to be doing is constantly producing more pups, shouldn't I try to stop the pups by taking them out so the mother tree will maybe work on the fruit?

Ok ....I am picking up what ...what you are laying down...
In real plain terms...
These plants are puppy mills in smaller containers.....As you know.
Put one plant in a larger 24 gallon- container and give it great treatment and you might get a flower:woohoonaner:
A photo would be good of your current situation.
Here is a great example off the web..
As you see you are part of the way there,,,,,
