Hi Tony,
this is what this video is all about (computer translated):

Common Platanillo
There are many species of Heliconia used as ornamental plants; even several are known
as common platanillo. Therefore, the identification of this plant as Heliconia bihai is
with certain reservations. Any contribution in this direction is welcome. The shaman
explains an application of this herb: The children are bathed with this plant to your teen
out healthy and balanced, so it was not traumatic.
After the
presentation of the plant, the shaman tells us about his experience in the city and how
they decided that would be devoted to the study of their ancient culture and cultivating
his garden of medicinal plants.

I am not sure if this post of yours was triggered by my post yesterday about Platanillo
Panoramio. This Heliconia pops up every time, when you google 'plantanillo panoramio',
together with the ornamental banana, which I was talking about.
BTW: There was a fowl-up with my pics. I loaded them into Flickr and later moved
them within Flickr from the Photostream to the 'Bananas.org' album. That changed their
address. If any body wants to see the blow-ups, click on 'Golestan2', then on 'Albums'
and then on the fourth one from the left on the third row. The pictures, which should have
been in the post sent out by yesterday's email are the last four there.
