I am trying to get some fairly fresh velutina seeds. Last year I bought some from aseller on E Bay. No germination . If anyone in Canada or the United States has any available, please pm me. Thanks, Dave.

I was given seeds of m.velutina last fall, and had no luck germinating them. I tried scarring the shell, pre-soaking, and smoke exposure, in various combinations. Nuttin'!

Did you ever get some to grow for you? I was thinking this might be a good choice for a first timer, in spite of fruits stuffed with jaw-breaking seeds?

This is my musa velutina. Germinated about 40 days in the wet sphagnum moss. On the eastern side of the windowsill. The sun shone upon them from morning till noon. Age seeds half a year.
