Hello to fellow banana enthusiasts. I am an avid gardener from Ontario, Canada. I have grown a few bananas from seed for houseplants. I am now interested in growing a musa basjoo outdoors. I would like to find a source for the plant here in Canada. I have seen the seeds offered for sale but have read that musa basjoo cannot be grown from seed. Any advice from someone with experience with these would be :2623:greatly appreciated.

You might have to get one from the states.
Some vendors will ship up north.

Hi there and welcome. I just bought some really nice plants from green Earth in Melbourne, FL. IDK if they're still on sale or not, but you couldn't ask for better plants, IMHO.
