:woohoonaner:Hi everybody. I bought a dwarf Cavendish Banana from Loggees last May- it came home in a square 4 inch pot. After the summer it grew to roughly four foot in a 12 inch pot. We have moved it inside to a heated porch although it is not as warm as I would like. The temp gets down to 50ish at times. I'm wondering if our water which has Mg and Ca in it will hurt it? Our water Ph is also low at 5.8. Our citrus plants lemon, orange, kumquat all are fine but i know the banana is picky. It is a cool plant though.

Welcome to the forum, Plantsrcool. 5.8 is on the low side for bananas. Might try mixing a little lime in to try and get that Soil pH back up a bit. I'm used to lowering the pH not increasing it, so someone else may have a better idea for you.
