...for you to view. I'm growing about 10 different types of Boo, so I thought I'd put up a couple of pics for your tropical pleasure...

...the first one is Bambusa Chungi...one of my favorites.

S-G...Just stick with the subtropical clumpers that will survive in your area and you shouldn't have a problem. Bambusa pervariabilis viridistriata "Sunburst Bamboo" will take temps down to 20 deg F...

...and the Bambusa multiplexes will go down to 12 deg F.

No root pruning or containment needed...just plant...water...fertilize...kick back...relax and enjoy...:D ...Z

hmm

well it would need to be Bambusa multiplexes as i'm in zone 7b or 8 depending on map you look at.. suppose i need to google them to see.

i don't think we've been below 15F without wind added in and i do have zone 8 plants returning last couple of years..

do you know anyone that might want to trade a piece?
sugarloaf pineapple ( small 4" pot ), dwarf orinoco cut off pup with softball size corm or sell?

one more thing, how big is clump 5'x5'?

thanks for the quick reply
