Along with my agristarts I bought 400 seeds from Banana -Tree and put them in one inch square peet pots and then in trays. Its been 3 weeks and 22 shoots have emergred. 5 have small leaves.
When should they be transplanted? Should they go in quart or gallon sized containers? |

Thats funny. I bought 200 seeds and have had 12 sprouts, with 1 of them dying for some reason. I also have the same question. Most of mine have a few leaves now. Its been 6 or 7 weeks for me. Still waiting on more sprouts, but i might give it pretty soon.

I pot mine up almost immediately after they emerge. I guess I wait a day or two. Just make sure to get under the sprout completely, and don't damage the roots. Pot them up into small pots, with well-draining mix, and take care not to overwater. As long as it's hot, overwatering isn't usually an issue.
