This was bought as Ice Cream. But the height is too short for Ice Cream as i read everywhere.
It is my most cold & wind tolerant type. Last winter the leaves stayed green (in all my other types theye were yellow) and never shreded.
Now i think that i see a flag leaf and a flower coming. Height is 5ft. It also produced more than 5 pups. One particulary pup i took it off without roots and i left it horizontally in a cement for 5 months because i thought that was useless. After 5 months i made an experiment and put it in the ground, and now it has roots and the base is getting green! It seems that it never dies..
What is it?

No idea, but I wish I had one like that!

The leaves look very tight and upright like a Rajapuri. Post some closeups of the flowers when it opens up and I'll post some closeups of Rajapuri to compare.

Can we get an overall of the whole plant, from a little further away?
I'm definately not thinking Rajapuri anymore!
SDC now comes to mind but lets see an overall shot

How long did it take to get that plant to bloom?

No way SDC. This is my most tolerant between all my 12 types of bananas in the ground. It went through winter intact. A removed and forgoten pup for 5 months, when i put it in the ground, it rooted! Not one leave shreded - and all remained green and thick. All of my other bananas turned to yellow in winter.
My last SDC died within a month or two.
And the height op pstem is exactly 5 ft - 1.5mm. The last leave touches the ceiling wood which is 2.6m (8.5 ft) high
I planted it 15 months ago.
There is no space to stand for a better photo.

and here is a night shot - with my son who is nearly 5years old.

I also have a Rajapuri around there, which generally looks a little different.

Yep that would probably be too tall for SDC, among other reasons..
I don't know, but those new pics might help trigger a response from someone with the same cultivar.
As the bloom opens please update the thread, as you know, the flowers help distinguish one from another.
Cheers

An update with 2 photos.
First bract just opened and fruits & flowers are a little difficult to see.
I had to lay on my back to take the shot!
I will update when bract is fully open and can take a better shot with lower iso/noise.
