View Full Version : How to tell Rojo from Borderlon?

Trying to figure out which one I have. Mine have a lot of wine marking even when up to five foot. Saw some Borderlon at a house that was 8 ft tall lost the wind marks like older Cavendish do. They look different then mine but size an age make a difference.

This might help....Bordelon leaves top view and bottom view.
Leaves seem less mottled than Zebrina/Rojo.

Mine must be Rojo then. Looks like I need a Bordelon for the collection :) thanks for good detail Mike.

I saw a very tall Zebrina/Rojo this summer, 8 foot or more, and it keeps the markings slightly faded, but plain to see, mine do as well.
