looking for cuttings of katuk, cassava, or yacon and others i just cant remeber now

If you have an Asian market nearby you can root/plant/make your own slips using tubers as you would with sweet potatoes; I did that when I lived up north. Be careful down here because they can become invasive.

the closest Asian market is 2 hours away in homestead. Thanks for the tip though next time I'm on the mainland I'll check.

What about Farmers and flea markets? I did a quick search on the area Big Pine Key and there are some. My lemon grass came from a flea market in Jacksonville; rooting it was easy. Sadly I lost my sugarcane starts in my move but I rooted it from stalks found at a local produce market so it can be replaced.

the flea market on big pine doesn't have much in the way of plants, and the veggie stand just has your regular veggies (tomatoes, onions, peppers ect) when i go to homestead/redlands I get stuff there at the farmers markets like sugar cane and malanga
