I live in the uk and I have finally put my forever growing griersonni in the ground. Now my problem is overwintering. How do I treat this as I grew this from seed and not usually having much luck I don't want to loss this.

Hi B19bst

You shouldn't have put it in the ground now as its a bit late in the season, you should have waited until next year in May, if you were going to trial griersonni.

Well, I would separate at least one pup and store inside for the winter, in the event you lose the main plant in the ground over the winter. I would suggest several inches of mulch as protection, and maybe even cover the mat with plastic with mulch on top of it, to protect it from too much winter moisture. Good luck with it!
