I fell in love with nanas in 2008 when my ex gf gave me a lil pup of her mothers I-have-no-idea-what-sort banana.

Well long story short.. I have two other nanas now. One of them, I think could be a dwarf or superdwarf cavendish, is found at the help-ID section^^ because I'm not sure what sort it could be..

The other one is my Musa Grand Nain.. (I hope to be)
I got it from e-bay ;) it's doing pretty good and two days ago I noticed its first pup :) but the plant is still very tiny

here it is:

It had some spider mites.. so i cut off 3 leafes and washed the other leafes with a sponge every day.. and they are gone till today.. and hopefully they will never be coming back ;)

Well you say.. "How can you grow bananas in this cold area?" Yah I just carry my GN outside when its comfy and sunny.. I carry it inside at nights.. :)

oh and btw. I'm sorry for my poor english..

Here are more pics of my GN:

It looks a cavendish type to me. I can't add much more to identification.

When plants are that small they all look similar to one and another.
To make a better guess the plant has to mature some more.

I ditto....Pancrazio's answer......until they are 8 feet tall then a better guess is in order...:woohoonaner:
