I have made a lot of jam but I have to say that 2 cups of bananas 2 cups sugar you may not get what you expect after cooking to temp you will have a very sweet brown thick jam and little of it.

Wow that sounds aweful sweet then again I find Bananas plenty sweet as they are. I have never tried banana jam though but I would not be adverse to trying it.

When making jams I usually combine bananas with apples to twist the taste a bit. I avoid adding too much sugar because it can be awfully sweet.

2 lbs apples
2 lbs bananas
lemon juice from one lemon
8 - 14 oz. sugar

It was pretty good :)
