I have one mat that has 4 stems that could fruit in the coming weeks. Now should I limit the Number of flowers per mat or feed it that much more? Thanks :v)

Well the 2nd pre is up on this mat.. Probably only end up w/ 3 fruiting.
So do you think I should limit the number hands? And to what?

I am no expert ( more a wimp when it comes down to trim or thin out anything ;) ), but why not experimenting? Trim one or two hands on one plant and leave the other one as is. That way you can compare if the trimming will have a positive impact on fruit development or not, because I assume you will treat the mat the same with watering and fertilizer.

SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN -are the nanas in LA or Ark? Main goal should be getting hands to full size to hang inside before the freeze comes. Removing smaller fingers/hands seems like a good idea.

I think I've got a similar problem but in an advanced stage. The mat has never been irrigated or fertilized and presently only has 5 or 6 bunches hanging (harvested a couple bunches in the past few weeks). If I'm gonna add ferts don't wanna wait til the last minute, plannin on harvesting 3 more bunches this week and some are in the 80-90 lb range.

All of them are in La.. Just planted 2 in Ark this year as an ornamental unless I get lucky w/ an early flower up there..
