hi!
living in rio grande valley near south padre island and brownsville gives us the tropical look. we have palms, mango, citrus, avocado, banana and lots of flowering tropicals like plumeria. i love having interesting and unusual plants (and varieties) and that extends to all the above. i work with fused glass and love the tools that come along with that, too.
ciao,

p.s. i put this little guy in because he looks like he's giving a "hook 'em horns" and i'm a texas-ex...i'm sure that's prob. not the 'nana's intention, but that's my story and i'm sticking to it.

I was at the island on Friday soaking some waves and sun. I have avocado, orange, lime, grapefruit, tangerines, apples, pomegranates, strawberries, watermelon, and tomatoes.

what strawberry variety(yes) do you have and how are you growing them - raised beds, weed cloth and mulch or ??? how long have you had them and how much fruit do you get? irrigated or just watered? inquiring minds want to know : )
