Could be a symptom of Nitrogen over load.

Maybe, but I've never added any fertilizer. I did add some mulch & biochar 16 months ago.
Whatever it is, it's mama just put out a huge bunch 4 days ago and it's
about double the size of it's mama, and I'm expecting a much larger bunch.

My smaller plants did not get fertilized either, but looked similar after a heavy compost application.

I do not think it is anything to worry about at all. Your plants appear very healthy. Some of my banana plants had bent cigar leaf in the past.

Some growers call this spaghetti leaf. Usually happens soon after excessive nutrients are applied. Or the roots from the mat propagate to untapped areas of nutrient concentration. One of my 4 ft Ae Ae pups had a spag leaf bent into a question mark. I fert with 6-3-16 so nitrogen only is not the cause.
The hobby grower can straighten the leaf and start the unrolling. Trying this on big farms - don't think so.
