I think it's safe to say that everyone on this forum is trying to grow plants. So far edibles escape me but I have some beautiful "clearance" ornamentals that are doing just great! However, I am anxiously anticipating the picking of a red pepper or 2 that came from Jville in a pot; it resides in a spot with morning sun only. (This will be my 1st ever "grew it myself" bell type pepper--hots are easy but bells aren't for me.) And we've picked a few okra pods--plants were started at different times so waiting for the lagging 10 to catch up with the bearing 3 because 2 pods every other day really doesn't make a meal.

You hear me.....! lolDespite what you've been told, you don't need 125 seeds to get 5 plants; they're weeds. And, grown carefully you end up with 120 seedlings then have to find a nice place between tall corn, not tall enough at 8', to plant them. Experience talking from the 70s? Who me? :ha:

Just moved am acclimating to nutso weather. Can't grow a tomato here but I know I could grow the other stuff or might be able to do so if needed. :ha: I will admit nothing regarding my past...figure it out...but tall corn stalks are a good cover if you want to "grow green".

I like the plan--any helicopters nearby? I "gardened" long before they knew how to spot mysterious weeds from the air...and I don't care if there are 40 year old pictures of me surrounded by the "stuff"--'twasn't me.
