Looking at the photos and searching MGIS for similar names, I suspect this variety is a Pisang Awak ("Namwah").

A quick search showed this, hope it can help.
‘Fen Jiao’
(AAB), a local cultivar which is very sensitive to Foc race 4.

It is a ABB cultivar from China. That ''Ba'' in the name is important.
In China only one different word in the name, can mean totally different cultivar. :)

It is not Namwah. I have Dwarf Namwah. This cultivar is more red.
This is rare local ( but apparently very hardy ) cultivar from China. It is very rare in cultivation outside of China.
This is how mature plants and fruit looks like ( from Markus Germany )

Interesting. I agree that those photos of the fruit and flower don't show a Namwah. They also might not show an ABB cultivar. The male and female flowers don't show much pink/red coloration (though it's a bit hard to tell from those photos), which is a trait of ABB cultivars. Also, I wouldn't put too much stock in the amount of red in the leaf sheaths or petioles. That trait is influenced by nitrogen availability and other cultural/climatic factors.

Mark, that's a good point. This is a Namwa with some red in it's leaf sheaths.

Small update.
We had a storm one week ago. With very strong wind, 100 km/h. Musa Fen Ba Jiao has some damage on the leaves, but new leaves are growing ( October 1. 2014. )
