It takes a longer time to make fruit, but when it does make fruit it makes a whopper of a bunch.

Of 58 bunches harvested 260 lbs
was the heaviest.

They do get absurdly big. I have seen some 14 and 15 hand bunches.

I don't really understand what the complaints about taste are. I think it taste good as long as it isn't overly ripe. Green tipped it is a fine banana.

get ready to prop her!I needed 2 x 4s and pvc,and she still snapped 1 of the 2xs in half..She will get big!!! Heavy feeder and if well taken care of,will produce for you one of the biggest bunches you will see.Taste for me was ok but not great...3640 way better! Here is a pic of one of mine when I was at my A game in "growing bananas" LOL! .Good luck!
