I'd like to find out the name of a ladyfinger banana that's been growing on our property for around 15 to 20 years. It grows to be a very large plant around 20' oa and produces large clusters of small(3-4") very sweet bananas with a firm texture. The mat is recovering from the past winters's freeze and the suckers are dispalying a pinkish color on the new growth and some wine spotting. Please see the attached pics. Are they thin stemmed @ that height.. Sure looks like a close resemblance to PK w/ that color, or Pisang Klotek (http://www.bananas.org/f2/stump-now-slowly-rises-19084.html). Howdy Neighbor.. :^)

Comment ca va? Thanks for the reply. The pseudostems are pretty robust and thick. Don't remember any falling over when bearing fruit.
